2020 Planners

So here's the thing. I am a planner. I like to have an idea going into my day what I need to do and where I need to be. I have to keep myself organized because I have three kids and a business to run. There is just a lot. So I have planners for all areas of my life. Not to mention I run a planner sticker shop so planners are kind of my thing. So I thought I would share what planners I plan to use for 2020 - and yes I said plannerS.

I don't mind having lots of planners for different areas because for some reason having everything in one doesn't work for me. I like having different planners for different things. And in all fairness, a couple of them are more notebook like than actual planner.

The first one is actually a memory keeper. I want to try my hand at doing memory keeping this year. I have been kicking myself for not taking more pictures in the last year so I'm hoping this will be a great way to encourage me to do just that.

This is a big size Happy Planner and meant to be kept as a memory planner so there are lines and places to write out memories. I have a vague idea of how I want to use this but I'm going to feel like I'm winging to start the year, but I'm really looking forward to using this!

This is a planner I have been using for a few months already. It's my budget planner. I can't share much because it's our finances but I will share that this has been working really well for us.

This is just a classic Happy Planner. I make my own stickers with our bills and such so I can keep track of it. It has really been working well so I plan to continue using this with the new year.

This my faith planner. This one I will be using the monthly view to write out the verse of the day from an app I have on my phone. I plan to keep this one pretty simple with not very many stickers.

This one is also a classic Happy Planner. It's a horizontal layout which makes it easier for journaling each day. I have tried this on and off in the last six months but I never really found my groove with it so I'm trying it again in the new year.

This year I am doing my daily memory planning in an Erin Condren. I used a classic Happy Planner last year and I am excited about switching it up this year. I'm really excited. I had used my last one for 18 months and I am more than excited about doing something new.

I got my planner in vertical neutral and although I think the rounded corners are weird, I think this is going to be fun to use this year. Plus look at how adorable my new sloth paperclip is.

This one isn't a planner at all but since I'm sharing everything. This is my meal planner. I have tried a couple different variations, but I keep coming back to this method.

I just draw out a whole month at a time then plan throughout the month for what's coming. It works well because I like the break down by category. I just wanted to share what I use for meal planning each week since I was sharing planners.

This is another new one for this year. A little known fact is that I have seriously high anxiety. It's been tough over the years dealing with it so I wanted to try something new this year and see if it helps.

This is just a simple layout. This planner itself is from Target and I have found journaling prompts from Pinterest. I think this will be a lot of trial and error this year as I figure out how to make this work for me.

I can't have a planner system without my bullet journal. I have been using a bullet journal for years and it works really well as my everyday to do list. I could probably get rid of everything else if I had to and only keep this. I can't function without this one and I'm excited about diving into this new journal.

This one is my fitness planner. I don't like to count calories but I do keep track of my food and fitness in here. I have been doing this for awhile now and I'm ready to start a new one.

This layout is completely different so I really have no idea how I'm going to use it yet and again it will be a lot of trial and error but I'll figure it out as I go.

And finally this is my work planner. I use a Hobonichi Weeks as my planner. This is a super cute cover that I got from a shop on Etsy and I love it.

I pretty much plan to use this the same way I have been using it for the last year. If it isn't broken then why fix it?!

In addition to what I have here I also have a mini happy planner coming that I think I will put in my purse/car to use on the go. I never have anything written down when I go out and try to make appointments and such so having a place to make notes and also just having a calendar handy will make it so much easier.

In addition to that I have really small notebook which I have for my health notebook. I have had some leg issues recently that I haven't talked about yet on here but I have been having to see doctors about it and having a place to write down my history so I don't forget anything, any questions I have, information from the appointments and when I have flair ups really helps keep it all together.

I have my regular journal that I use as my brain dump basically. It's completely personal and I have been using the same journal for years and it works to get it all out each day.

And lastly I have a handlettering notebook that I hope to use into the new year. I have been wanting to practice my handlettering more so I have a place to practice when I have the time.

So there you have it. It all seems like a lot. But I have a purpose for everything and I have been using multiple planners for awhile now and it works for me. I think the important thing is finding what works for yourself. Plus planners and stickers are fun. Overall I'm really looking forward to this year. I'm looking forward to playing in my planners which is a hobby and just finding a way to make my planners and notebook the most productive that they can be for me!
