Dear Emma::
I think I'm in shock that you are actually 11 months now. You are just a month away from being a year and I am so not ready. You really are growing too fast.
This month has been a lot of the same. You really haven't done anything new this month. However you did get sick which was no fun. Your nose has been running like crazy and you have been coughing. It's so hard because we really don't have much that we can give you, but you are hanging in there. Those school germs really got you this time!
You are still my champion sleeper though. There are days that I feel like you are trying to drop your morning nap but I haven't given up on those naps just yet. But those are definitely shorter by about an hour, which is better than nothing. You still take about a two hour nap or so in the afternoon. There are days I'm sure we both wish they could be longer but with school pick-up, that can't happen. Nighttime you are a pro though going to bed about 7:30ish and getting up about 7 in the morning.
Lately you have been wanting more actual food and less bottles. It's crazy to think that we are in the last month of bottles - ever. At a year we can officially move you over to whole milk and be done with formula. I don't think that will be a hard transition since you just have been less interested in general in your formula. But you are all about food. Your favorite food hands down is turkey. The minute I put the turkey slices on your tray you just start shoveling it in. We are up to three pieces of deli turkey at lunch and you love it. But you are pretty pleased with just about everything right now.
You are definitely curious and into everything. I am constantly cleaning up things after you after you have empty a tub to search for something. You want to climb the stairs. You flatten yourself on the floor when you spot something under the couch. You see something and you go for it. Your big brother and sister don't always like that though since sometimes it is their stuff that you are getting into. You are just trying to figure the world out.
You are such an amazing little girl though. You are curious about everything. You want to check out the world. You are happy. You have been talking up a storm, and just absorbing all you can. You really are such an amazing little girl and I can't get enough of you. I love you so much.
