January Bullet Journal

I don't know how many times I think about trying something new when it comes to planning. But then I end up coming back around to the same old bullet journal. I see all the different planners and the way people plan and how awesome some of them look but then swiftly change my mind once again when I think about how I just need a place to make lists and if I have time and the desire I can do more. I like to be able to make lists and heck print out coloring pages and color. So I always seem to come back around to the bullet journal over and over again.

I did do something different this year with my front pages, and I think it's something fun and different to add in. I also have been using my own stickers for the months (these I actually sell in the shop for the lettering impaired like myself) and I made myself a quote for the front page as well.

I thought about trying something new with my calendar for the next year but in the end I went back to my same old layout I was using the year before. If it works then there's no need to change it. This month was such a laid back month too. I really didn't need too much.

My next pages were also the same. I had my memories pages and my blog post page. Although I haven't been the greatest at keeping up with this blog lately - life is just busy. But it's nice to keep track of the posts I know I want to do like Emma's monthly letter and our day in the life posts.

My dailies ended up being much like I had it throughout December. I found that it really worked. I used some stickers in order to point out big things that are happening or that I need to get done But also some decorative stuff because I think that kind of thing is fun to look at.

I actually didn't add in a bunch of extra pages this month as a whole. Something I have been wanting to do for awhile now is put together a household notebook that has important information that is easy to access. So I started putting together sections and what I wanted. I will say that I have started on putting the notebook together some but but two pages is about as far as I got in the whole process.

Otherwise there was a lot of the same throughout the months. I had a lot of lists and they weren't always long. It was a long month but I just needed to make my daily lists to keep my brain on straight.

The only other extra page I did this month was this shop discounts page. I have a lot of coupon codes for Etsy shop that I either shop at for personal reasons or ones I shop at for business and it's nice to have a place to easily access the coupon codes when I'm ready to buy.

And that was it. I decided against doing a currently page this year. It was becoming too much pressure to try to fill it out at the end of the month truthfully so I decided not to do it this year.

So there you have it. How are you planning for February?
