2 - I am struggling with exercise these days. I just feel stuck in a rut and I can't seem to find anything that I love and that I can keep up with (my body and legs are feeling pretty run down). I tried barre but I don't have the balance or skill or grace to do barre despite the reassures that you could do this workout even if you didn't have dance training. I'm definitely stuck in a rut with exercise and I'm not even sure what I'm going to try to take on next week or if I'm going to try to take something else on.
3 - My memory planner has been going well and I haven't missed a week. There has been some weeks where it has been really hard to come up with what to put in the week including pictures. But I it's nice to be able to look back. I don't do tons and tons of writing, nor do I include a ton of stickers because I like it more clean and open but I do like it in general. I was feeling a little bad because I didn't have a lot of pictures of Addison because she was at school all day but that's about to change I guess. It will definitely be quite a planner to look back on later.
4 - I am currently designing summer kits for my shop and to be perfectly honest I am so uninspired. It's been cloudy and rainy, plus a little chilly. Not to mention all this cooped up with the virus (which we don't have but we are playing it safe) isn't helping. My anxiety has been higher so my focus has been off. I actually normally love designing but I'm having trouble finding both motivation and inspiration these days.
5 - I found out earlier this week that my kids won't be returning to school at all this year. And to be perfectly honest I am a little heartbroken (and not happy about it at all). I want them to have the experiences they can only have at school. Connor should have his hands on experience in Pre-K and he truly loves school. And Addie has always loved school and not get the opportunity to say good-bye properly to her friends and teacher. I also have a book order at school and we have library books. I mean it's all a mess. We may have gotten to this point regardless but I think the call was made too quickly which seemed to take school districts by surprise and parents questions couldn't even be answered because they didn't know. Not to mention the fact that I send my kids to public school for a reason and that's because I never wanted to homeschool them, so yeah....definitely not awesome but a reality all the same.
