3. We had a flyover last Tuesday from Whiteman AFB and the kids loved it. We went outside and did some drawing on the driveway (although we did later learn that we should have been in the backyard but oh well) while we waited. At first we weren't sure it was going to happen since we are pretty far south of the metro area and the little map was kind of hard to read but then they came right over us and the kids thought that was pretty cool. Something to break up the day and see some cool airplanes.
4. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that everything that is going on is mentally draining. The feeling of having to stay in your house and then having to take so many precautions if you go out (which in our house, Rob actually does the grocery shopping and the rest of us haven't left in a month and a half). And for all the parents out there, suddenly taking on your kids full time but not just full time but with school in tow. It's just a lot. Sometimes I just feel completely worn out. So but I really want right now is a nice, good midday spring storm. I don't know what it is about day storms but it seems to slow everything down.
5. Not too long ago Stella cat started sneezing like crazy and had a lot of eye drainage. She has had eye drainage in the past because she has something wacky with her eyes, but usually her eyes get really bad when she is stressed. And things are definitely different and she can sense the stress and anxiety from me and Rob, so we started putting a calming collar back on her. However that didn't explain the sneezing. We started to get a little worried because the sneezing and general not feeling well came after a grocery run day when Rob was out. But she wasn't having any breathing problems or really any other problems at all from what we could tell. I looked it up and it seems like she just got a little cat cold. She is already much better now but we were in debates for awhile about if we needed to take her to the vet. We decided if she stopped eating or starting having breathing issues we would take her in a heartbeat but otherwise we were going to wait it out and see how she was. But poor Stella has been stressed and not feeling good. She is already much better but we were worried for a bit.
