Dear Emma:
I can't believe that you are already a year and a half. You are just growing and changing so fast. You are beautiful and funny. You have so much personality and light.
You are such trouble. You are always into something. Your favorite thing to do is distraction. You will get into something then when I am busy taking care of that mess, you go after something else. And that something else is usually what you really wanted in the first place. You definitely keep me on my toes and always moving. You wear me out in all the ways possible but you are darn cute doing it.
Lately you are doing a lot more talking. There is a lot of gibberish still but you are trying. You are doing your best to communicate with us. I am loving hearing you talk. You are also so expressive with not just what you are trying to say, but also with your body language. It is truly very cute and shows so much of your already so big personality.
Your recent love has been of books. You can't seem to get enough of them. Every nap and bedtime you have at least one book in your bed that you flip through before you go to sleep. Granted sometimes you just want to pull all your books off your shelf for the heck of it but once you get your books down you just sit and flip through them all. I love that you too love books as much as I do.
One of your favorite things to do is to dance. It doesn't matter the music. You are all about dancing and you have some of the best dance moves I have ever seen from the stomp dance to the down-dog one-leg in the air dance. You never fail to entertain us in all that you do.
You have one of the biggest personalities I have ever seen on such a small person. You don't let your siblings push you around and you actually tend to yell at them - even if we can't understand you - passionately when you don't like something. You are so expressive and know what you like. There is nothing small about you. I'm excited to see your personality grow and change more the older you get.
You are truly an amazing kid. There are so many amazing things about you that make you unique. You are active and excited. You love to cuddle. You love your blanket. You never fail to give hugs and kisses and smiles. I am so lucky to be your mom and watch your grow. I love you so much.
