5:41 -- I'm finished so I head back upstairs for a shower.
6:00 -- Dressed but wet hair, I head back down to work and take care of things before the kids get up.
7:29 -- Emma is awake.
7:48 -- Connor is up too. And after tripping over a toy again, I clean up the mess. Yes he should be the one to do and normally he is, but I've had it with his room.
8:11 -- Addison is up too. She strips her bed and I throw all the sheets into the washer.
8:27 -- We head downstairs
8:34 -- Breakfast time. They have mini pancakes, a banana and scrambled eggs.
8:42 -- The kids are done eating and go about playing. I go about making myself a smoothie. It's something new I'm trying out in the morning.
9:02 -- Emma is struggling and doesn't seem to feel good. So I turn on Disney Jr which I didn't want to do today. Time to regroup.
9:37 -- We head upstairs for bathroom cleaning and the kids play.
10:03 -- We head outside for a bit. It was crazy hot and humid. The air was terribly still.
10:29 -- Emma is done with the heat so we head inside while the big two stay out to play
11:13 -- The big kids come inside and I turn on roller coaster ride videos on YouTube since I promise Connor yesterday that we could watch them.
12:14 -- Lunch time
12:48 -- Emma and I read before naptime
1:03 -- Quiet time means work time
3:12 -- Emma is awake from her nap.
4:01 -- I get started on dinner with a helper. I'm making lasagna which naturally takes a long time. I turn on Disney Jr for the other two, mostly Emma who insists on standing between me and the stove and trying to grab anything she can off the counter. Not the safest of choices.
4:58 -- Rob comes down, done with work for the day
5:19 -- Dinner time
6:00 -- Rob and the girls skype with Rob's parents. Connor isn't interested so he joins me upstairs
6:30 -- Skype isn't working so gears are switched to Goosebumps and popcorn
7:32 -- Time to get ready for bed. I know I would love to go to bed now. I'm feeling pretty tired.
7:55 -- Emma is down
7:59 -- Rob has been reading a Goosebumps book the kids which they have been loving.
8:05 -- Connor is down
8:10 -- Addison is also down
The rest of our evening is spent doing the dishes and cleaning up outside in case we end up with rain. Then I read before falling asleep. It was a long day - productive but a long day.
