A Day in the Life: 7 Year, 3.8 Year & 10 Month Edition

5:00 -- I'm up bright and early to exercise. I had to take the last two weeks off for reason I will talk another time, so getting up so early this morning wasn't exactly easy.

5:43 -- I'm done and heading upstairs to get cleaned up. A shower sounds really nice today.

6:02 -- Out of the shower and mostly ready for the day. I lay down for a bit and watch some YouTube on my phone. I'm definitely tired.

6:40 -- I get back up and finish getting ready for the day so I'm at least put together even if I"m not ready for this Monday.

7:00 -- Time to get the kids up.

7:20 -- Everybody's eating breakfast including Emma and her 6 oz bottle.

7:33 -- Rob heads off to work.

7:55 -- Time to head off for school.

8:26 -- Emma and I are off to the grocery store.

9:07 -- Home again. I get Emma down for a nap, start laundry and get groceries put away.

9:28 -- Emma isn't exactly pleased about the nap but I'm still hoping she'll go down. I get some cutting down and work on some finances among other things. I always seem to have plenty to do.

10:58 -- Emma is awake and ready for her 8 oz bottle.

11:12 -- We head out for our second of three mandatory walks of the day to get Connor.

11: 38 -- Home again.

11:45 -- I promised Connor we could watch Scooby-Doo Zombie Island that we got from the library today so we are going to chill, have lunch and watch zombies.

12:07 -- Lunch time. Connor has a corn dog, chips and cheese. Emma has turkey, peaches, cheese and crunchies. I just have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and chips.

1:03 -- Time for nap time/quiet time.

After I get both Emma and Connor down I go back downstairs to work on designing. It's odd I'm working on winter designs with this beautiful 60s weather and the windows open while watching scary movies - today I'm watching The Conjuring. 

2:28 -- Well naptime was a disaster. She was up before this but I was hoping she would go back down - no dice.

3:00 -- My alarm goes off so I give Emma her 8 oz bottle; Connor meanwhile continues to play in Emma's  room

3:25 -- Third walk of the day to pick up Addison.

3:46 -- Home again. I immediately send the big kids outside. It's a beautiful day and they need to get some energy out. Emma who just wants to move but really can't outside is stuck inside with me where she can actually play.

5:01 -- I start dinner and give Emma some cruniches to munch on.

5:32 -- Dinner of spaghetti and meatballs.

5:51 -- Rob's home and the kids are done and running around the house.

6:09 -- We finish up dinner and start cleaning up. We put up the Halloween decorations then work on Addison's school work.

7:02 -- We head upstairs. I take Emma and get her fed while Rob deals with Connor and Addie showers.

7:23 -- Emma is down after an 8 oz bottle and a couple books.

7:35 -- Connor is also down now.

7:48 -- And the last kid is down with Addie going to bed.

Rob heads off for a run and I do some planning for the next day then head to bed early. And that's it. A peek at a day.
