Flashback Friday: 2013

January // We were finally getting the hang of the parenting thing and loving every second of it. She was a daddy's girl from the start but he still had a way of making her make this face. The funny part is that he still has a way of making her make this face these days too!

February // The girl's first Valentine's Day, which really meant nothing to her and frankly to us since we didn't do anything. However, I did learn that she was going to be exactly like her father. It's hard to catch a smile with all the face expressions.

March // This month was Addie's first Easter and when we could finally get out and enjoy the fresh air. We walked to the park one afternoon then ended up sitting on the front stairs together while Addie's slept in her stroller. We decided it was better to just sit outside and let her sleep then to try and move her. (A Walk to the Park (in Photographs))

April // I forgot how nice it was to have an immobile kid. We could do projects with both of us working and the kid entertaining herself in a play area I set up by us. Now one of us is always chasing her around. (Our Weekend in Photographs)

May // I had my first Mother's Day with my kiddo. I'm one blessed mama.

June // June is a busy month. Father's Day, Rob's birthday, our anniversary. We celebrated our second anniversary which was also our second year in the house. (Cotton: The Anniversary of the Year)

July // Rob was gone the last couple weeks of June for annual training which meant that was first time since Addie was born that he was gone for a decent length of time. It went pretty well but we were pretty excited when he came back home in July.

August // We had a busy August including our usual Silver Dollar City birthday trip. This was Addie's first trip to SDC. She may not have known what was going on or where she was, but it was fun and this is definitely one of my favorite pictures. (Our Weekend in Photographs)

September // Stella and Addison were warming up to each other still. (Somebody's Watching Her//Happy Friday)

October // My little girl turned one. (Her Birthday in Photographs)

November // Rob surprised me by taking our 4 year dating anniversary off (yes we still give ourselves a little nod on that day) and taking us to Science City, where we went for our first date. (Our Weekend in Photographs)
