A Day in the Life: 7.9 Year, 4.5 Year, & 19 Month Edition

5:00 -- It was rough but I got up and exercised. It was arm day and I had a bit of a headache but I'm always glad when I get it done. 

5:50 -- I head back upstairs to shower. I'm a sweaty mess. 

6:05 -- Office time. I have both some work and some home stuff to take care of this morning. Monday morning, back into routine. 

7:36 -- Emma is awake...and coughing. Not a good way to start the day actually. She doesn't seem to be feeling great today. Allergy medicine does help her but we don't know what the cause is. But when I went up there, she was all smiles. 

Connor showed up in Emma's room while I was getting her up. Addison was awake but I don't see any sight of her. 

8:00 -- We heard downstairs for breakfast. I unload the dishwasher and do a quick clean of the half bath downstairs. (I'm trying a new cleaning system, the Flylady, because I just can't seem to get a handle of cleaning around here and I'll update with how it goes but it requires what they call a swish and swipe of a bathroom every morning.)

8:15 -- Addie shows up for breakfast

8:31 -- Connor finally comes to eat breakfast. 

Then we head upstairs to brush teeth and make bed. 

8:40 -- Somehow we survived our morning routine, so I head to the grocery store while Rob comes down to hang out with the kids. 

9:44 -- Home again from the grocery store. I let the kids continue to watch Disney Jr. while I put the groceries away. 

10:00 -- I finish putting the kitchen back together while the kids watch one more episode while they have a snack. 

10:25 --  I turned off the TV so Emma and Addie dance to some music while Connor plays Lego. I work at cleaning my zone for the day. 

10:58 -- I meal prep my lunch. 

11:31 -- I sit down for a little playtime with Emma. 

12:07 -- Lunch time. I get to just sit down with my food because since Rob has been working from home he has been making lunch for the kids. He volunteered and I didn't turn him down. 

12:55 -- Emma reading time then a nap. 

After Emma goes down, I go downstairs to my office to work more. The big kids play quietly, keeping themselves busy. 

3:01 -- Right on time the big kids start asking for a snack. 

3:29 -- Emma is up and snack time for her. The bigs play puzzles. 

4:21 -- Time to start dinner. 

5:08 -- Dinner time

5:37 -- Playtime with dadddy

6:33 -- We start cleaning up. The kids clean up downstairs then head up to clean up their rooms before shower time. 

7:10 -- Addie reads to me

7:18 -- Rob reads to Emma then puts her downs

7:35 -- Rob reads Goossebumps to the big kids. 

7:50 -- Addie and Connor head to bed. 

Then Rob plays video games next to me while I plan the next day then read. I pass out pretty early and that was our day.
