5:45 -- My alarm goes off. I'm not working out these days for a couple different reasons but regardless I am still getting up early in order to have some time and do some work before the kids are up for the day. So up I get. I showered the night before so I just get dressed and head downstairs.
6:00 -- Rob has been trying out morning runs so he heads out
6:37 -- He has returned so he heads up to shower and get to work.
7:20 -- Connor is up and wants to feed Stella.
7:28 -- I hear Emma over the monitor so it's time to get her.
7:38 -- I strip down the beds for sheets day.
7:40 -- Addie is up too.
7:58 -- We head downstairs for breakfast. They share a banana and have some oatmeal and go-gurts.
8:15 -- I swish and swipe the half bath then unload the dishwasher while I wait for them to eat.
8:19 -- Connor and Addie head upstairs to finish morning chores and finish getting ready.
8:24 -- Emma finishes and we head up to brush teeth.
Then we take care of things upstairs. I also do my hair because fake it til you make it. My head is pounding and I feel kind of lousy so I thought putting myself a bit more together might make me feel better.
8:38 -- We go back downstairs to do a little cleaning. The kids help.
9:05 -- All done cleaning. Breakfast for me while Addie reads to me directions for something we plan to bake today. Connor and Emma play.
9:17 -- Baking time!
9:49 -- Snack time and Scooby Doo while we wait for our cake to come of the oven.
10:37 -- Bake to the cake. We take it out of the oven and made the glaze. Then the kids ran right back to Scooby.
12:02 -- Lunch. The kids have corn dogs, puffcorn, carrots and fruit. Then we finish the meal with our Blueberry-Lemon Cake.
12:55 -- Emma and I go read for naptime.
2:15 -- Connor shows up to play with a planner I gave him while I continue to work.
3:03 -- Addie comes down and I hear Emma on the monitor.
3:18 -- I turn on a movie while they have a snack. I feel really lousy.
4:31 -- I start dinner.
5:09 -- Rob is done with work for the day.
5:18 -- Dinner. We had a one pot Tex-Mex skillet withe lime chips.
5:32 -- Done with dinner so time to clean up.
5:48 -- Now we are just relaxing with no plans other than to remake beds at some point.
6:36 -- We head upstairs to make bed and clean up
7:09 -- Kids start getting ready for bed.
7:45 -- Addie reads to me. Rob reads to Emma and gets her down. Connor seems to be wandering about.
8:04 -- After some shirt searching, Rob is reading to Connor while Addie does her planner.
8:16 -- And they are all down - or at least in their rooms. Emma is still restless in her room but close enough.
And that is pretty much it. We just relax. I watch the Royals game then go to sleep pretty early. And because I went to bed so early I think Rob just played video games but really I have no idea. But there you have it. Another glimpse into a day around here.
