A Day in the Life: 8.1 Year, 4.9 Year & 23 Month Edition

 5:00 -- Alarm goes off and I get up. I have been up to see many hours of the night last night but I do finally get up. I'm back to exercising again so I get my butt into gear and get it done. 

5:32 -- I head back upstairs to shower and get dressed. 

5:49 -- Then back downstairs again to work on my nano novel. I have been using the chuck of morning time to write every morning this November so far. I don't always get it done but I get a good jump on the day. 

6:30 -- Another alarm goes off so it's time to go finish getting ready for the day. 

6:50 -- I am ready so I take some time to read. 

7:03 -- Kids wake up time

7:22 -- Breakfast time. 

7:52 -- School time

8:09 -- Home again, a bit wet, but home

We head upstairs to dust Addie's room for my zone clean. Emma can always find something to play with in here. Connor meanwhile is rolling pumpkins in the hall (yes that is indeed what it sounds like)

8:20 -- I'm done but they aren't done playing yet. 

8:50 -- We head downstairs for my breakfast and bullet journal break. I actually have a fair amount of computer work to do so I turn on Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas

10:58 -- I'll save the rest of my work until later and I build with my girl for now. But I did at least complete my word count for the day. 

11:30 -- Lunch time. The kids have chicken nuggets, fruit, cheese and raisins. I have been having this really good Apple, Feta, Walnut & Dried Cranberries Salad. 

12: 15 -- Connor school time

12:32 -- Home again and much colder for it. Emma and I head to her room to read then nap time. 

I then head downstairs to work. 

2:38 -- Mom and Dad arrive for a visit. 

3:10 -- Emma is awake

3:22 -- Time for pick up

3:49 -- Home for playtime with grandma and papa

5:18 -- They head home and I start dinner. 

5:45 -- Dinner time. 

6:07 -- We are done with dinner and just doing our own thing, playing, watching something mindlessly on TV. Just kind of doing whatever. 

7:10 - We clean up then head upstairs for showers. 

7:37 - Addie starts reading to me. Rob goes to read to Emma. Connor lays down and looks at books in his room while he waits. 

7:48 -- Emma is down first

7:57 -- Connor is down now

8:02 -- Addie is down too - or at least reading. She has until 8:15 then she has to turn off the light

Neither Rob nor I last long and I think we are both asleep before 10 tonight. And that was our day.
