A Day in the Life: 7.11 Year, 4.7 Year & 21 Month Edition

 5:45 -- My alarm goes off. I took a shower the night before so I just get up, get dressed and head downstairs to work for a bit.

6:42 -- Connor is awake and came to join me for a bit.

6:50 -- We head upstairs to finish getting ready. Normally I'm not in a big rush with it still being summer break but we had somewhere to be this morning so we needed to get a move on. 

6:58 -- Addie pops up. 

7:05 -- Emma is awake now too!

7:10 -- Breakfast for the kids of oatmeal, go-gurts and a banana between the three of them. I clean up a bit and unload the dishwasher while I wait for them to eat. 

7:34 -- After brushing teeth and getting through the other morning chores, we head out the door. I had a blood draw this morning. 

8:07 -- We arrive at the doctor's office. Rob drove me since we had to go to KCK. He waits in the car with the kids while I go inside. 

8:14 -- And done. Time to head home again. 

8:42 -- Home. And pretty much the minute we walk back inside Emma throws up everywhere. At least she waited...

8:51 -- I sit down to eat breakfast. 

9:00 -- I head upstairs to fold laundry and do some cleaning. Emma eventually comes up to help. 

9:43 -- The big kids clean up their mess they made while I was upstairs while Emma eats a snack. She's pretty hungry today since she throw up her breakfast. 

9:59 -- I get to meal planning. 

10:20 -- Finally snack time. They took awhile to clean. 

10:53 -- I do a final check of school supplies. School is finally starting again!

11:02 -- Connor and Emma color while I put together a Target list and do some reading. 

11:52 -- Lunch time. They have all been having something different lately. But Emma is loving eating at the counter with the big kids. 

12:25 -- Chill playtime before quiet time. 

1:17 -- Emma and I read then I put her down for a nap. I quickly back to work - I have an order to do then I do this and that. Addie mostly reads next to me while Connor sets up Jurassic Park in my office. 

3:00 -- I get Connor set up upstairs with Rob (Emma is still sleeping). Addie and I head out for an appointment. 

5:08 -- Home again and exhausted. But it is done. Emma greets me happily. 

5:18 -- Pizza night. 

5:56 -- We decide to go on a little walk since Connor has been dying to ride his bike all week. 

6:19 -- Home and time to clean up. 

6:30 -- We chill upstairs after cleaning up. My leg hurts so I'm putting heat on it. 

7:14 -- The kids start getting ready for bed. 

7:46 -- Emma and Connor both wanted the same book tonight so Rob read to both at once. 

7:54 -- Emma is in bed and not pleased but she'll settle soon enough. 

8:05 -- Connor is in bed too.

8:11 -- Last but not least, Addie is in bed. 

We then spend the rest of the night relaxing. As per usual I fell asleep early before the Royals game is over but that was our day.
